Manifesto
Take the golf seriously.
Don't take yourself too seriously.
PARLY exists because golf's wardrobe stopped changing somewhere around 1987 and nobody thought to mention it.
We love this game. The etiquette, the history, the fact that a Tuesday evening nine can genuinely fix your week. We rake the bunkers, we repair the pitch marks, we play ready golf and we don't talk in someone's backswing. The Rules of Golf are not the problem.
The problem is that a sport this strange, this obsessive and this occasionally hilarious somehow ended up with a uniform of navy, grey and beige. So we make the alternative: seamless technical polos in 80/20 nylon-spandex, golf balls that glow, shoes that look like something you'd actually queue for, and numbered drops that are gone in an afternoon.
The jokes are always aimed at us — at the slice, the breakfast ball, the three-putt and the £600 driver that clearly wasn't responsible. Never at the game, and never at the person playing it.
Golf has enough normal. We're just different.

Six questions
Every product has to survive all six before it leaves the studio.
01
Is it different?
If another golf brand could easily have made it, we start again. Sameness is the one thing we refuse to manufacture.
02
Is it premium?
Different is not an excuse for cheap. Every piece has to stand up with the joke removed and the label cut out.
03
Does it respect golf?
We joke about ourselves — the shanks, the three-putts, the equipment that definitely wasn't at fault. Never about the game, the etiquette or the people playing it.
04
Would someone share it?
Product, packaging and campaigns should start a conversation on the first tee, not just a transaction online.
05
Would someone collect it?
Numbered, finite, sequential. Things worth keeping in the box as well as taking round.
06
Does it work without the joke?
Strip the humour out and you should be left with an excellent golf product. If you aren't, we've made a novelty item, and we don't make novelty items.

The mark does the talking.
No cartoon, no character, no logo doing impressions. Just PARLY — set tight, embroidered at 3mm on a cap and blown out half a metre wide on a Sunday bag. It shifts weight, colour and texture with every collection: luminous for After Dark, pixel-set for Arcade, engraved brass for 19th Hole. It never appears on everything at once. Restraint is what makes it land.
